September 8th, 2008 at 07:08:34 Nader. Or possibly McKinney (I believe she'll win the Green nomination). I'm voting Nader. He's got the most support and most recognition and he has officially endorsed the National Initiative that Senator Gravel introduced. I can trust Nader. Not Obama. Not McCain. Not Barr.
September 8th, 2008 at 07:31:33 I have never been a fan of Backtrack Obama - so it is nice to see how former Obamaniacs are seeing a new face on this man. With a new face in executive politics & the Democrat label he has been GIVEN a pass by most progressives & liberals. Were he to turn out to be actually a Republican in sheep's clothing (a la Clinton) we may wake up in Nov 08 with no better future than with McWar. I will be voting for the most progressive 3rd party candidate - any ideas?
September 8th, 2008 at 07:54:32 I disagree. What we have is not socialist government. It's corporate welfare. That's vastly different. If we had a truly socialist government, would we still be declining in education, life expectancy, health care, etc. compared to all other industrialized nations? I don't think so.
September 8th, 2008 at 08:17:31 There needs to be more transparency to where candidates' money comes from. I have a great idea. No candidate for any office should be able to SPEND any more than 100 x the annual salary at the current minimum wage. Wonder where that will take us? :-)
September 8th, 2008 at 08:40:30 pt2. I really wish the Obama supporters would wake up. In the last week alone, he has backpeddled on at least 3 issues. He now says he doesn't think NAFTA is that bad. He rolled over on telecom immunity with the FISA bill. I don't even care that much about the campaign financing thing, but he isn't true to his word. He lacks integrity. He continues to fund the war in Iraq, he goes along with voting for bills that include funding for it. If he was really against this war... he would stop funding.
September 8th, 2008 at 09:03:29 Because Obama isn't planning on withdrawing all troops. He will remove combat troops but we would have military there indefinitely. He wants to increase the military budget. The US already spends more than the rest of the world combined on its military budget. How much more of our taxes should go towards this? We can't afford it. At this point, most of our tax money is only paying INTEREST on our debts. This needs to stop.
September 8th, 2008 at 09:26:28 Actually, I find what Obama says is vastly different than either McCain or Clinton. How can you say "leave as soon as possible" is the same as "I can imagine staying for 100 years"
September 8th, 2008 at 09:49:27 Apparently the producer of this video isn't aware of the facts about our monetary system. Printing money out of thin air destroys sovereignty, destroys economies. Also, unaware of the plan to destroy America by dismantling industry on the claims of global warming. I mean since mainstream media won't report on the truth and your here speaking to 'change' start by research on the plan mentioned and the federal reserve.
September 8th, 2008 at 10:12:26 awesome video!!
September 8th, 2008 at 10:35:25 I really hate to feel this way, but denekawa is right. The current Empire will have to fall, it's too late to "fix" anything. Unfortunately, the military-industrial-complex that Eisenhower warned us about has branched out into healthcare, entitlement programs and mass media. At this point, it seems that our only choice is to opt-out. But, where does that leave us? More to the point, where does it leave our progeny? I'll fight 'til I die, but if I die trying, what was the point?
September 8th, 2008 at 10:58:24 It's only going to get worse because the people are not empowered to affect any positive change. Talk all we want, nothing is going to get better, hollow rhetoric. A big crash is coming and then the rich can join the ranks of the protest too. It's almost laughable really.... no it is laughable! How did they bring down the Nazis?
September 8th, 2008 at 11:21:23 Better to insist on knowing what organizations prospective politicians belong to and what oaths they have taken.
September 8th, 2008 at 11:44:22 The influence is fed by the Federal Reserve Bank giveing a blank check to the US government by the same bank being able to issue unlimited amounts of fiat money at intrest. The govenrment never has to pay these bogus loans back because the IRS will steal money from the people justified by these bogus debts the Federal Reserve Bank the IRS and the debt issue of money must stop. I AM NOT A DEBT SLAVE. I am free.
September 8th, 2008 at 12:07:21 [??? what was that? Haven't finished, yet!!] ...institutions. [NOW, I've finished, darn system!] Post Comment
September 8th, 2008 at 12:30:20 Yeah, for sure! Let's pop some more Prozac's to get rid of feeling like slaves and grin like degenerated clowns...! "Government" - an insult like "reform"! Ain't got nothing to do with the original meanings! Even diction is conquered by dark neo-medieval
September 8th, 2008 at 12:53:19 Due to lack of gold-based values since the 90's and the most effective way to trigger the dopamine system, money is THE MOST HARDEST DRUG ON EARTH, forgotten to be banned by Anslinger, if he would have been as consequent, as he intended to be; because you don't have to flee into illusions of a better world - YOU CAN MAKE YOUR OWN WORLD!!! Therefore it's the MOST conscious-altering substance, which, being analyzed on substance abuse measures, should be PROHIBITED for the best of human race!
September 8th, 2008 at 13:16:18 I completely agree. I'm really sick of our two party system and the voting blocks of party liners. None of these people represent their citizens any longer. They only care when they're about to be up for reelection.
September 8th, 2008 at 13:39:17 In a sense, these are very constructive criticisms. If you can't keep people focuses on your message long enough to understand it, the message will not spread and therefore there will be no grassroots movement. Charisma and good oratory skills do count for something, but it should not be the ONLY thing that counts. I found it difficult to stay focused on this video. It was too monotone and not succinct enough.
September 8th, 2008 at 14:02:16 If you have been listening to all of what these three have said during debates and interviews, you'd come to that conclusion too.
September 8th, 2008 at 14:25:15 Or, even better, how about instead of bipartisan, make it NONpartisan. I, for one, am sick of this two party corrupt system. At this point, I'm considering never voting for a Dem or Rep again.
September 8th, 2008 at 14:48:14 Excellent approach, kick the addictions.
September 8th, 2008 at 15:11:13 The only real change will begin when gov stops printing money out of thin air. Stop the unconstitutional federal reserve, income tax on avg citizens living and working in the states, and STOP all foreign, corporate and special interest ENTITLEMENTS.
September 8th, 2008 at 15:34:12 We need to change who runs for congress. Congress should be neither Dem or rep, but independent. That way we the people have a say though our Representative. Unlike what happens now, where the member votes on party alliance. Any Congress or senate member accepting Bribes (lobbyists contributions would be charged with TREASON.) I'm not in Cal, but Run Man, Run. we are behind you.
September 8th, 2008 at 15:57:11 Change starts with U.S. us.
September 8th, 2008 at 16:20:10 RE: LoPhatt's comment. Our constitution allows for both because it written by activist who became politicians. What we have today is what they overcame, an oppressed people being systematically fleeced.
